Legacy's Beginning
Courtney Redman built her career inside law firms, spending over 13 years working within the systems that quietly determine whether strong legal work translates into stable operations. Across roles and firms, she observed a consistent pattern: capable attorneys operating under growing strain, not from lack of effort, but from workflows, communication, and ownership structures that had never been intentionally designed.
Legacy Contracts LLC was founded in 2021 to address that gap.
Since then, Legacy has partnered with law firms nationwide to strengthen the operational structure that holds the work together from intake and client communication to workflow ownership and internal accountability. Our role is not task completion, but operational stewardship: identifying where strain forms, clarifying responsibility, and designing systems that function predictably as practices grow and change.
The work focuses on:
- Structuring intake and communication pathways that reduce friction
- Defining workflow ownership to eliminate ambiguity and repetition
- Creating operational consistency that protects leadership bandwidth and client experience
This approach goes beyond execution. Legacy works inside existing practices to replace reactive management with intentional structure, without the cost, rigidity, or risk of full-time staffing.
Grounded in deep, firsthand experience inside law firms, Legacy Contracts helps attorneys move from managing around their systems to leading through them.
A More Strategic Way to Support Your Practice
Many law firms reach a point where effort alone isn’t enough to maintain clarity, consistency, and growth. Legacy Contracts partners with firms to identify operational gaps, stabilize workflows, and implement systems that make work predictable, sustainable, and scalable.
Watch the video below to see how intentional operational support:
- Reduces friction in intake, communication, and handoffs
- Protects leadership bandwidth and focus
- Creates clarity that lets your firm move forward with confidence
This is the moment where operational partnership delivers the most impact, the first step toward predictable growth.
Our Mission
At Legacy Contracts LLC, our mission is simple: strengthen the operational backbone of your firm so leadership decisions are clearer, workflows are more stable, and growth is sustainable.
We design systems that reduce friction, protect capacity, and replace reactive workflows with intentional structure, allowing your practice to grow without pressure, competing with purpose.
Why Legacy
What makes this different
There is no shortage of consultants, virtual assistants, and operational tools available to law firms.
Here is why managing partners choose Legacy Contracts, and why the distinction matters.
01
We work inside your firm, not around it
Most operational support delivers recommendations and leaves implementation to you. Legacy works alongside your team, embedded in the actual workflows, communication patterns, and decision structures that shape how your firm functions day to day. We don't hand you a report and step back. We stay in until the structure holds.
The difference: Consultants diagnose. Operational partners build, implement, and maintain alongside you, until the system runs without them.
02
13 years inside law firms, not adjacent to them
Courtney's background is not in general business operations or project management. It is specifically inside law firm environments, watching how decisions move, where authority collapses, and how the gap between strong legal work and stable operations quietly forms. That specificity changes what gets noticed, what gets named, and what actually gets fixed.
The difference: Generic ops support applies frameworks to your firm. Legacy recognizes patterns your firm is already living, because we've worked inside them.
03
We design for how your firm grows, not how it looked last year
Operational strain in law firms rarely comes from bad systems. It comes from systems that were built for a smaller, simpler version of the firm and were never updated to match what the firm became. Legacy designs operational architecture around your firm as it exists today, and builds in the flexibility to hold structure as the firm continues to grow, shift, and change.
The difference: A one-time fix addresses today's friction. A living operational structure prevents tomorrow's.
If you have worked with operational support before and it didn't create lasting change, the issue likely wasn't effort, it was depth of involvement. Legacy is built for firms that are ready for a partner who stays in the work, not one who consults from a distance.
